This summer, our Sisters in Arms team filmed a documentary aboard the USCGC Healy above the Arctic Circle to recognize the courage, professionalism and leadership of the women serving on board.
This 3-week mission of the USCGC Healy, our nation’s only arctic icebreaker, commanded by Captain Kristen Serumgard, took us where icy winds, vast horizons, and the quiet strength of the crew revealed a new frontier of service, sacrifice and sisterhood.
We captured breathtaking footage and deeply human stories: women navigating isolation, danger, and purpose in defense of democracy.
In the spirit of Veterans Day, as our nation reflects on those who serve, we ask for your help to complete and air this powerful film.

- 🎬 Editing and post-production of our Arctic mission,
- 🕊️ Archival storytelling linking today’s heroes with the trailblazers who came before,
- 🌎 Community and educational outreach to bring these stories to audiences nationwide.
